Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Meat Products

We have a wide range of gluten free products on offer, a few of these being from our selection of sausages and kebabs. Our dry cured bacon is also gluten free.

Our beef, pork, chicken and lamb are sourced from highly reputable and certified free range New Zealand farms.

Prior to cooking any steak it is best brought to room temperature to allow for even cooking.

To get the best crackling when cooking pork, expose the skin in the fridge the night before to allow it to dry out.

We suggest that meat be kept in the fridge and used within 4 days or frozen to be used at a later date.

Our sausages consist of meat, spices and water. No preservatives. Our bacon is dry cured.

About Our Meat Boxes

Both the Couples and the Family Meat Boxes change weekly on Thursdays.

Unfortunately no. We have worked out options and quantities to give the best deal possible to our customers and changing products compromises this.

Not at this stage however we are working toward this in the future.

About Our Deliveries

The last order for the current Meat Boxes is midnight Wednesday to ensure delivery Thursday or Friday.

Once we are out of COVID19 Alert Level 4, we will make this option available.

Some rural areas are available if you are living between Bethlehem and Katikati by State Highway 2. If your address is not available, please call the shop to arrange an alternative.

Deliveries placed by Wednesday will be delivered Thursday / Friday. Orders placed Thursday / Friday will be dispatched the following Tuesday / Wednesday.
